SCU Announces Partnership with the National UFO Historical Records Center

THE SCIENTIFIC COALITION FOR UAP STUDIES ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL UFO HISTORICAL RECORDS CENTER

March 7 – The Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU), a data-driven organization of scientists, academics, and research professionals dedicated to conducting and supporting open scientific research into unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), released the following announcement:

The SCU is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with the National UFO Historical Records Center (NUFOHRC), an organization recently established in the state of New Mexico that seeks to educate the public on the history of the UFO/UAP phenomenon, preserve and digitize historical documents and media, and promote scientific research into the topic. The partnership agreement between SCU and NUFOHRC is based on the natural synergy between SCU’s scientific research and NUFOHRC’s preservation of primary historical documents related to UAP.

Robert Powell, SCU Executive Board Member: “Partnering with NUFOHRC adds archival and historical resources to SCU’s mission of promoting and encouraging the rigorous scientific examination of UAP. The partnership is an exciting and necessary step to bring resources together in both organization’s common interest of scientifically investigating UAP.”

David Marler, NUFOHRC Executive Director: “Through the collaborative efforts of SCU and NUFOHRC, we see the best of both worlds. Namely, the application of science in better understanding the contemporary UFO/UAP subject mixed with the acknowledgment of over 75 years’ worth of case files and reference materials that provides historical context for that study.”
